Product Design – Home appliances

The development team was required to deliver a device, that can switch on/off and monitor home appliances. The project included electronics and PCB design, firmware and mobile applications development, as well as 3D enclosure prototyping. One of the features involves onboard support for power consumption measurement and presentation of the measured data at the 7-segment display that is mounted at the front of the device. The device comes with an Android/iOS application that allows the user to turn an appliance on or off with a click of a button. The communication between the app and the device is done over Bluetooth LE
